Strictly Inverness

It is with great pleasure and a massive amount of thanks to Marion at Glow who supports strictly Inverness a dance extravaganza ran jointly by the Highland Hospice and Inverness Ice Centre since 2009.

The event raises a huge amount of money for the two charities and honestly we don’t know where we would be without her!  

It all starts with a call to Marion in January asking if she would be willing to ‘make-up’ all our dancers for all the shows which run over 3 nights.  The reply is always, ‘of course I can….would be delighted to and how many dancers do we have this year’!

She has supported this event every year since 2009 with enthusiasm and a great sense of humor which she needs as there are normally around 10 ladies with very, very high expectations!  

It is testament to Marion’s attitude and excellent skills that our dancers every year have been delighted with their make-up, many of them telling me after the event that they were amazed at the time she takes to ensure they are happy with the style or theme that is required for their dances….yes that’s right dance’s….plural so with 3 dances each that means 3 lots of re-done make-up for each dancer x 10 – we just don’t know how she does it, but she does and she does if fabulously!

So a very big thank you on behalf of the Ice Centre and the Highland Hospice to Marion at Glow for your continued support and we wish you every success.

Curves Breast Cancer Campaign

Thank you so much for coming along to support our Girls Night In at Curves in aid of Breast Cancer Campaign.  We truly appreciate that you gave your time and  services free of charge.  All our ladies were very impressed with the treatments you provided. They were all singing your praises on the circuit the following day, saying how friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic you were and that your pamper treatments were fantastic!  We look forward to having Glow Beauty back again in the future.

I was given Marion’s details by a friend who highly recommended her to do my make up on my wedding day. From the minute I met Marion I felt at ease as she really listened to what I wanted. I only had one trial as she did my make up the exact way I wanted first time. This is the first time I have ever experienced this. I wanted to look like myself and didn’t want anything too heavy and just wanted a natural look. After my trial I decided to ask Marion to carry out all aspects of the beauty side for my wedding for myself and all my family, as she just understood everything we wanted for the day. She was brilliant on the day and put everyone at ease and we couldn’t have been any happier with she did. I have continued to go and see Marion whenever I need a treatment, as no one understands how I like things more than Marion. My mum has now also switched to going to Marion as well for all her treatments. It is not only how brilliant she is at all the treatments she offers, but the warm welcome she always extends to everyone that comes through her door. Nothing is ever too much for her and she always makes you feel so at ease and you always leave feeling relaxed and happy. I now wouldn’t go to anyone else for my treatments, as it is never the same quality or friendly atmosphere as you get when you go to see Marion.

I have been a client of Glow for around 5 years and over that time I am delighted to say I have had a variety of treatments from Marion, from massage to manicure!  Always so professional and I feel she takes the time to really get to know her clients.  I like my nails straight….I like a stronger massage and I only do brown brows….but Marion knows what I like and what I don’t.  I use the products today that Marion introduced me to a long time ago showing me how best to apply them and sharing with me some of her ‘beauty secrets’ and tips of the trade.
